Thursday, 8th August we arrived at Montevideo in the morning after long hours in the airplane.
After baggage reclaim we had our second breakfast using our madpakke/Vesper/lunchbox before clearing customs, as no biologic goods were allowed to be brought into Uruguay.
Then we took an Uber taxi to our first hosts, Claudia and Rafael, on the country side, approximately 30 km away from Montevideo.
They have a big house and garden with a greenhouse for some vegetables, two dogs and cats, and many workawayers are coming here for help and stay.
When we arrived a family from the french speaking area of Switzerland was around and it was a funny mixture of Spanish, English, French and Danish, as Rafael lived 12 years in Denmark.
On Friday we started our duties as workawayers with cleaning the kitchen and the bathroom.
